Freight inspection & damage information

IMPORTANT: Immediately inspect your delivery before acceptance

When your order is delivered, an inspection must be performed before signing for the delivery:

  1. Observe the box for any damages. Even if there is no apparent damage to the box, also check if your box is labeled with a TiltWatch® XTR Indicator (which will check for risk of freight mishandling) and follow the instructions on the sticker. Depending on the type of product, your shipment may not have a TiltWatch® XTR Indicator.
  2. Note “Damage” on the Bill of Lading receipt if you suspect the freight has been mishandled. Failure to note “Damage” may result in the inability to file a covered claim.
  3. Take photos of your observations and email the photos to the freight manager for our review.
  4. Accept the delivery, note “Damage,” and continue to unpackage the unit to inspect and test for functionality. Often box damage doesn’t necessarily mean product damage. If damage is observed, please contact us within 24 hours to set up a corrective action.
