How to attach swivel bracket
- Slide oilite (brass color) washer onto stud.
- Slide bracket onto stud
- another oilite washer
- a steel washer
- Thread the plain 5/16-18 nut on until it secures the bracket so that it still turns but with some resistance.
- Thread the nut with the nylon insert up hard against the first nut to serve as a jam nut.
