Mechlock and Cable Replacement Instructions

To remove & replace the Cable and Trigger:

1. The cable passes through two tabs on the Mechlock body. Pinch the tabs together and lift the cable out of the the slot of the moveable tab.
2. A small screwdriver can be used to pry the retaining clip to the side, allowing the cable to exit the hole.
3. Remove the trigger by removing the two screws (#3 below)
4. Install the new cable by reversing these steps.

To remove & replace the Mechlock:

1. Follow only Steps 1 & 2 above regarding the cable
2. Remove the nut (#5 above) and bolt (#4 above) at each end of the mechlock.
3. Bolt on the new mechlock and reattach the cable
