Applying grease to the cervical bolts

Grease can be applied to two bolts to eliminate squeaking. Remove the two- section plastic enclosure at the cervical end. There are screws on both sides.

Grease can be applied to the two bolts where they pass through holes in the plate.

The photo, below, shows the view looking up from the floor toward the underside

of the cervical cushion. Also work some grease into the spring where the guide pin is visible in the center of it in case it is rubbing there.

If the grease did not silence the squeak, a quick spray of WD40 into the end of the 4 linear bearings may help.
