Lubricating points

Areas that may be preventing pulls of low poundage due to friction or that may cause squeaking.

1. The components that need to be checked for lubrication can be accessed by removing the leg cushion. There is a hex head bolt near each of the corners of the cushion on the underside that can removed with a 7/16″ wrench or socket.
2. The area you need to focus on is in the center area of the picture. There is a large red spring and a shoulder bolt on each side.
3. Apply some heavy grease to the bolt shoulder from the head of the bolt to the hole in the plate where it passes through as well as the area of bolt on the other side of the plate.

4. Add grease to the outer surface of the large spring where it enters the short square tube.
