Repair distraction actuator

-Test fit the small piece in the end of the actuator to see if it slides easily.

If it does slide easily, continue as follows;

-Remove the small piece, apply Loctite 609 on outside surface, and reinsert.

If it does not slide easily, continue as follows;

-Place the small piece in the freezer for 1/2 hour and test fit again to see if it will slide in easily.

If it does slide easily, continue as follows;

-While still cold, remove the piece, apply Loctitite 609, and reinsert.

If it does not slide easily,

While still cold, remove the piece, apply Loctitite 609, and reinsert by pressing it in using constant force, not impact*

*Constant force can be applied by tools such an arbor press or bar clamp
