Replacing tapeswitches

PARTS: Tape switches with female connector on each lead Male connectors (4) Plastic panel & screws (if table does not have rocker).

EXPLANATION: The wire for the tapeswitch is terminated with crimp connectors after it exits the base. A plastic panel covers the termination and also secures the wires to the top of the steel base where they route off to each side.

TO REPLACE BOTH SWITCHES:

  1. Unplug the table and remove the plastic panel.
  2. Tapeswitches are shipped with female connectors.

If table has external connectors, connect the new switch. IF the external wires do not already have the male connectors on them then cut, strip, and crimp one on each lead at this location. There will be four separate connectors if there are two foot strips. Connect the new switch(s).
