Ha90C- Dual Control, Removing Original Knob

PARTS LIST:

FR 2-50, per width of table

Knob, 1 3/4 diameter with 3/8-16 thread

Red loctite or super glue (do not apply – customer must do it)

1. Remove the original knob by cutting through the shaft in the area “A”.
2. Loosen the set screw on the 3/8″ lock collar and slide the collar from the cut end.
3. Pull the shaft from the assembly by gripping the gear at the opposite end of the shaft. You will need to turn the shorter tension knob ‘B” until it is free of the assembly in order to provide clearance to pull the cut shaft out.
4. Insert the new shaft with gear until the gear is against the tube on the frame.
5. Slide the 3/8″ lock collar on the open end of the shaft until it is against the other tube.

The rod should turn freely but shouldn’t have side-to-side play. Tighten the set screw.

1. Apply the adhesive to the threads of the knob and thread it onto end of shaft.
2. Insert the shorter tension knob on the other side of the frame.
