How to align centering pin and cam on pelvic rotation (2004-present)

ACCESS PELVIC DROP-

1. Use the pedal to distract the pelvic section.
2. Loosen the pelvic tension knob so that the cushion will not stay up on its own.
3. Lift the head end of the pelvic cushion so that you can access the drop pin and rotate it so that the roll pin is no longer in the cushion bracket.. You will now be able to hinge the cushion up high enough to access the centering pin area, shown below in red.

ACCESS NO PELVIC DROP-

1. Use a 7/16″ wrench to remove 4 bolts where the pelvic cushion attaches to the four corners of the distraction frame. See bolt locations in the photo.

ALIGNMENT:

With handle down, the pin should be nested in the U-shaped recess, the cam should be resting on the top of the elevator bolt and pointing the same direction as the pin, as shown.
