If the distraction doesn’t glide smooth

This photo shows a partially assembled pelvic section of the Air Flex top frame. If your distraction assembly is sticking and shutters as it distracts then check two things.

1. Make sure that all four bushings are still retained in the steel tubes on the welded frame. There is a retaining clip at each end of the bushing. (see photo)
2. The other thing to do is wipe any residue off the chrome rods that the bushings slide on and then spray it with teflon spray or WD-40.
