Repositioning rotation pin with pelvic drop (2004-present)

  1. Use the pedal to distract the pelvic section.
  2. Loosen the pelvic tension knob so that the cushion will not stay up on its own.
  3. Lift the head end of the pelvic cushion so that you can access the drop pin and rotate it so that the roll pin is no longer in the cushion bracket.. You will now be able to hinge the cushion up high enough to access the centering pin area, shown below.
  4. Rotate the black steel handle down to the “6 o’clock position”, toward the floor.
  5. Use a 5/32″ hex wrench to loosen the 4 set screws on the centering pin and reposition it so that it is engaged in the U-shaped slot as shown. Tighten the set screws.
