Repair Cervical Mechlok Mount
Repair Cervical Mechlok Mount
PARTS:
FR 3-28 Repair Bracket
1/4-20 x 1 1/2 Hex head bolt (H 413)
3/8 x 1 1/2 shoulder bolt (H1723)
1/4-20 nylock nut
5/16-18 nylock nut
- Attach the Mechlok to the new bracket with the enclosed shoulder bolt. Hold the bracket against the square tube on the frame as shown in the drawing.
- Tilt the head down to see if the range of tilt is acceptable. If the doctor prefers the original range of motion, then grind off any part of the original mount from the frame along with its welds, slide the bracket so the mount is at the original location, and drill.
- Use the enclosed hex head bolt and nut to secure the bracket to the frame.
