Rocker Pedal – Add to, or Replace a Corded Pedal

- Unplug the table.
- Drill 1/8″ holes through both base tubes at location shown in diagram, below. Increase hole size to 1/2″. NOTE: If the long rod does not pass through all the holes than enlarge only the holes located on the inside of the two tubes. This will prevent the rod from being too sloppy in the holes.
- Hold the new bracket against the bottom of the base with the electrical box against the cross member. Mark the two holes on the bottom of the base and also the one in the small angle on top of the electrical box.
- Remove the bracket and drill 5/32″ holes at these 3 locations. Secure the assembly to the base with the enclosed 3/4″ long screws.

5. Insert the 19″ rod from the left side of the base, add the Base 1-31 Hose Assem bly and then the 1/2″ collar w ith hex head bolt. After the rod exits the right side of the base, add the fiber washer and then the other foot pedal.
The collar with hex head is 1″ from side tube. The collar of the hose assembly is at 5″.
The pedals and collars should only be tightened when the pedals are level, the hose is pointing straight in towards the base, and the hex head bolt in the collar is pointing straight up from the floor. The stem of the toggle switch should be inside the piece of hose.
Blue Locktite should be applied to the threads of all set screw s and hex head should be very tight .
- Hook the two springs that are already on the hex head bolt into each of the two small holes located in the angle.
- – IF the rocker style pedal only will be used then plug the table in and elevate it. Remove the scews that secure plastic enclosure to the base and lift the enclosure for access. UNPLUG the table. Disconnect the wires from the original pedal where it enters the base. Squeeze the cord restraint with pliers and remove it. Insert the cord from the new rocker, strip the wires, and crimp the mating connector to wire.
– IF the new rocker AND the original pedal Insert the new 4-lead cord through an available hole in the base strip. Cut the 4-lead cord at a length to connect to the capacitor. Strip each
color and add female connectors on red and white to connect to the capacitor. Crimp a connector on the black for connecting the black pigtail and other pedal black. Cut off the green lead.
