Replace the Speed Pot
AFT Replace the Speed Pot

Speed Pot H5821
1. Loosen the tiny screw on the side of the original speed pot knob and pull the knob off.
2. Remove the four screws that secure the front panel on the control box.
3. Remove the retaining nut from the stem of the speed pot and remove the original speed pot from the front panel.
4. Disconnect the three colored wires at their pull apart mated connectors. Be sure to pull on the connectors only or you will pull the wire out of the connector.
5. Install the new dial by reversing steps 1 – 3. Make sure the speed pot stem is turned counterclockwise completely to the zero RPM setting. Secure the knob with the screw from Step 1 when the line on the knob is at zero as shown.
