Replace the Extension Spring
Parts Needed: H1623
AT LUMBAR DISTRACTION LOCATION
It is easiest to remove the original spring and install the new if a pair of needle nose pliers is used.
AT CERVICAL DISTRACTION LOCATION
Verify that the distraction cylinder is fully retracted so the red plunger “A” can be locked in the hom e position. This position w ill ensure no preload is on the extension spring and the m ount bolt “B” can be rem oved w ith a 7/16″ socket or nut driver.
