AUTO FLEX Replace the Flex Cylinder

1. Support the leg section w ith a chair or a couple 2×4’s.
2. Select the Flex function and use the pressure pedal to evacuate the air from the cylinder.
3. Unlock the Flex handle as if preparing for manual flexion. Remove the balance of air from the flex cylinder.
4. Disconnect the air hose from the cylinder and also the reed switches secured around the cylinder.

5. Remove the nut/bolt at the top and bottom , “A ” and “B “, of the cylinder. Take note of how much thread of the upper cylinder mount at “B ” is exposed.

6. Remove the bolts securing the cylinder to the lock assem bly at “C “.

7. Secure the new cylinder by reversing steps 1-6.
