Replace the Solenoid

Replacing the #7 Solenoid on the Air-Flex

  1. Unplug the table.
  2. With a regular screw driver take out all 4 screws. The front panel will drop out.
  3. Unscrew the two screws. The control box will also drop down.
  4. Go to the rear of the table and take out the screw.
  5. The outside skirt is now detached enough to get to the valve bank.
  6. Take a 9/16″ wrench to take off selected solenoid.
  7. There are 2 wires attached to the solenoid. One has a male connector and plugs into a female connector. Unplug these from each other. The other wire coming from the solenoid must be cut. Now remove the bad solenoid by lifting. Put the new solenoid on the post in its place and tighten the nut on top. The wire that you cut before must now be stripped back about a 1/4″ and twisted together with the new wire on the new solenoid. Apply the clear butt splice (supplied) as shown over the twist and crimp with a pliers. Plug the male connector of the new solenoid into the female connector.
  8. Put skirt back up and replace all screws.
